Installation Art

Significant part of my art work consists of installation art, interactive light installations and performances. They belong to a category of new media techniques, which I use together with other similar techniques that are adequate for my artistic expression, like: computer animation, digital prints, net art and so on.

I create installations for a long time, since 1999. Because I am not very happy in restrictive mode, I use both traditional and new media techniques in my art work.

Because my education includes both art and architecture, I am equally sensitive to 2D and 3D visual impulses. They are very inspiring for me.

Besides them, there are other motivations that make me consider creating an artwork that can be described as art installations.

For example, I never try to transfer and spread some linear content, because I am not observing reality as linear. I sense all that is in a non-linear way. I feel that everything exists simultaneously and that everything is connected in the same kind of totality or energy. I express this condition trough my art work.

Installations seem to be adequate choice to express these beliefs. My installations usually overlap with another new media art technique: ambience or ambient art.

My first installation was NASTURTIUM created in 1999.

After that, there were more works created in this artistic media:

ONLY THE BALL

DIAMOND

GOLDEN ROOM

They were exhibited in a gallery spaces.

There are several projects of my art work that are still in progress. They will be exhibited in a 3D form soon. The following artworks belong to this category, but also to the interdisciplinary art category:

CRUCIALLY IMPORTANT DISPOSITION OF FLUORESCENT PINK ROSE PETALS IN SPACE

LIQUID SKY

KRYPTONITE OVERDOSE

More artworks are HERE.

I think that there will be more ideas in the future that would inspire me to manifest them in this amazing new media art technique that I love very much: installation art.
