At the watercolors gallery below there are images of the artworks created in this traditional art technique, and they are segment of my art work. I have created watercolors or aquarelle paintings for many years and I will continue this process in the future.
Watercolor paintings are very similar to oil and acrylic paintings. There are some differences, like the principle that decorative framing of watercolors has to be under glass. Another difference is that artist can create watercolors much faster then oils or acrylics.
I think that artworks created rapidly have the artistic value that equals the value of the artworks that had to be done more studiously. I adore both versions. But, sometimes I am disappointed to see that some works of art created in a serious amount of time lack the consistency and artistic integrity. And they are still given more credit then some brilliant artworks that are created in rapid techniques.
The point is that watercolors have great artistic value, and they are valuable investment, too.
My watercolor paintings are available for sale.

NEW IN WATERCOLORS GALLERY!
There is important information about decorative framing. Watercolors are works on paper which have to be framed under glass. Because it is dangerous for me to ship works framed under glass because of the possible damage, I ship them without the decorative frames.
There is a possibility to purchase an art reproduction of an original watercolor, and you can see all the necessary details here.
You are welcome to come here again and see what’s new in my watercolors gallery.
